Meridian ID Humane Society

The Meridian ID Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of animals. We provide a safe and loving home for animals in need, and we work to find them permanent, loving homes. We also offer a variety of services to the community, including adoptions, low-cost veterinary care, and educational programs.

The Meridian ID Humane Society was founded in 1972 by a group of animal lovers who were concerned about the number of homeless animals in the area. The Society began by operating out of a small house, but it quickly outgrew its space. In 1982, the Society moved to its current location on North Main Street. The new facility is much larger than the old one, and it allows us to provide better care for the animals in our care.

The Meridian ID Humane Society is a no-kill shelter. We believe that every animal deserves a chance at a happy and loving home. We work hard to find homes for all of the animals in our care, and we never euthanize an animal for space.

We offer a variety of adoption services, including adoptions for cats, dogs, rabbits, and other small animals. We also offer a foster program for animals who are not yet ready for adoption. Our foster program allows animals to live in a home environment while they wait for their forever homes.

In addition to adoptions, we also offer a variety of other services to the community. We offer low-cost veterinary care, including vaccinations, spaying and neutering, and microchipping. We also offer educational programs for children and adults about animal care and responsible pet ownership.

We are located at 123 Main Street in Meridian, Idaho. We are open Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm and Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
